Hello,
Here is how you can identify the performance of your motor : There are four different speeds of motors (original motors made by Tomy). 1.0 (blue) - 1,000 rpm. 2.2 (yellow) - 2,000 rpm. 2.6 (orange) - 2,600 rpm. 3.0 (red) - 3,000 rpm. Original Bit Char-Gs are sold with 1.0, 2.2 and 2.6 motors, depending the model. The most powerful original motor made by Tomy is the 3.0 motor. motor question
|
i recently bought the 3.8 and 150mAh battery on Ebay, for some reason the motor is blue, instead of pink like the other 3.8 motors. So i'm wondering if there is a way to check the rpm?

hey the guy that sold that to u cheated u to buy his product.
blue=1.0(1,000 rpm) yellow=2.0(2,000rpm) orange=2.6(2,600rpm) red=3.0(3,000rpm) pink=3.8(3,800rpm) so next time u shop on ebay make sure it has a picture and the right description........................................... |

The official Tomy motor is blue=1.0, but even though my motor is blue, it is a little bit faster than the 3.0, but I need something that I can use to measure the rpm to find the exact motor speed. With the 3.8 motor, it doesn't sound as loud as the official Tomy 3.0 motor, but is still goes pretty fast, but not as fast as I expected.

gearing prob. with motor

i have a 3.0 and a 3.8 motor for my car, they are both really fast on top end, but really slow on the start. It takes them awhile to get going, what gears do i use??
Another thing, i went to my local hobby shop an bought a really cheap mini car. I took the motor out of that car and put in my Bit Char-g. I found out that those motors are quite competitive with the 3.0 motors. |
